As you can see by all the years of hunting photos listed below, we hunt all our Setters. Each of our Setters have proven to be 100% NATURAL bird dogs and are Gun Dog Certified before they are even considered for our breeding program. Most kennels breed for a "trainable" bird dog, that require professional training techniques, expensive equipment, force training and will cost the customer hundreds if not thousands of dollars in training and sadly many will never make good "foot hunting bird dogs" or even good family pets.
We breed for a "100% NATURAL" outstanding bird dog with a wonderful temperament and must have a strong willingness to please their owner/s. Our Setters come from 150 years of line breeding so they only need to be introduced to a few birds to introduce them to hunting and to understand what their master wants. Their unbelievable ability, natural instincts to hold point, retrieve to hand and back (honor another dogs on point) and their strong willingness to please their master makes them the easiest and best bird dogs ever developed. Anyone, who has access to birds can train them. Once you own the BEST, you will never want to try another breed or strain of bird dog. Not to mention their BEAUTY!
