2017 Annual Family Hunt!

All dogs are our PURE DASHING BONDHU and this was another awesome hunt.

Unfortunately, the cover was way to thick and high to take photos in the field of the dogs, it was a hard hunt on both two legged and four legged hunters and most birds were retrieved calling "Dead Bird". Considering the conditions we did exceptionally well both days.

Unfortunately, this would also be Russ Champman's last family hunt, with his unexpectedly and sudden passing in the spring of 2018. Russ was our main photographer over the years and only missed one family hunt in 10 years to hunt Mule Deer (got two monsters) and Elk in Colorado. Though Russ will be missed, he always put safety first, so we are sure Russ will be watching over us on our future hunts.

13 bob-white quail and 10 Kansas Ringneck cocks with four shooters.

Russ Chapman a week before his unexpected sudden passing. Is deeply missed and loved by all who knew him and especially as Big Mike's hunting buddy, brother in-law, BEST friend, and helper with training our young Llewellin Setters. Russ helped train and hunted over 99% of our Setters and all started dogs we have placed over the years. Please, keep our family in our prayers, especially for my sister and their many children.
